WILLIAMSPORT – State Rep. Jamie Fick (R-Lycoming/Union) invites families of the 83rd District to a Kids Safe Symposium on Saturday, May 11.

Partnered with the James V. Brown Library, the event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the library located at 19 E. Fourth St., Williamsport. The event will feature a Bike Safety Rodeo course presented by Safe Kids PA Lycoming County. Kids are encouraged to bring their own bike, but those who do not have one can still participate in the rodeo.

“As the warm weather approaches, it’s a good time for parents and their children to be reminded of some safety tips before getting involved with outdoor activities,” said Flick. “I’m happy to have partnered with James V. Brown Library’s staff to help promote a safe and enjoyable summer for children.”

The library will have a booth set up to share its summer learning initiatives and more. Representatives from Lycoming County Coroner’s office and PennDOT will be on hand providing information about health and safety.

Additional organizations are welcome to participate in this event. To become a vendor, register at repflick.com/events and complete the vendor registration form.
