MUNCY TOWNSHIP – A new destination retail super store planned for Lycoming County could spur economic development and new opportunities for tourism and recreation, according to Sen. Gene Yaw (R-Bradford/Lycoming/Sullivan/Tioga/Union), Rep. Joe Hamm (R-Lycoming/Sullivan) and Rep. Jamie Flick (R-Lycoming/Union). During today’s county commissioners meeting, Bass Pro Shops announced plans to open a new location in Muncy Township, its third in Pennsylvania.

Flick’s Child Custody Reform Passes House with Overwhelming Support

May 8, 2025

HARRISBURG – Rep. Jamie Flick (R-Lycoming/Union) announced legislation that streamlines child custody factors from 16 to 12 passed the House on Tuesday by a 202-1 vote. Flick, a longtime advocate of 50-50 custody, proposed an amendment to require family courts to provide anyone named in a custody petition with a written copy of the new factors when decisions are made. It passed unanimously.

Flick Issues Statement on Governor’s Residence Arson

HARRISBURG – Rep. Jamie Flick (R-Lycoming/Union) issued the following statement regarding the early morning arson at the governor’s residence in Harrisburg. Gov. Josh Shapiro and his family were safely evacuated by state police. The fire, which caused a “significant amount of damage,” was extinguished by Harrisburg firefighters.
