Fishing with Flick and Mayor Slaughter
Williamsport Mayor Derek Slaughter and I invite youths and families from the City of Williamsport and surrounding areas to a day of fishing, food and fun! In conjunction with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission Mentored Youth Trout Day, this event is designed for youths from ages 4-16 years, to enjoy the great outdoors, team up with a parent or mentor and learn the art of angling.

For beginning anglers, we’ll team you up with a mentor and provide a fishing pole, courtesy of Northcentral Nature Conservancy, as well as hook and bait, and teach you the basics of fishing.

For youngsters, ages 4-6, we will provide the opportunity to learn the basics of fishing via a Velcro fishing pool, coloring books and fun activities.

Permits ARE required for this event. For more information about Mentored Youth Program, visit here.
